Dan Sexton is tied for 12th in scoring in the nation and in the top 20 in both goals and assists.

Whoo-hoo! I never expected to see Michigan State in last place. I know they have a young team but it is a surprise for them to be playing so poorly.
I know everyone has talked about this before, but the Falcons do have a very winnable upcoming schedule. Hopefully we can see the team that came out against Michigan and not the team we watched Saturday against Lake Superior.

Love it!! Couldn't happen to a better team.

Whether the schedule is "winnable" or not you seem to not believe your
eyes when BG's level of competition is the BOTTOM of the CCHA. All of the better teams are not going to go undefeated and will even lose games to
BAD teams like BG. BG is a BAD hockey team period !! You should be pushing to make things better as soon as possible instead of thinking BG
can beat anybody. The rest of the CCHA says the same thing about BG....
very winnable games.

This shows the state of the program right now. We get excited when we arent in last place.
I really cant believe how long we have just played brutal hockey. I think Im going to stay away from the Ice Arena for the rest of the year. Watching us give up 8 goals to Lake St, is just not good for my health

And you know the most frustrating thing about it is that we have the potential to be at least a middle of the pack team. Is it coaching? Is it the players? I don't know, but something is going wrong this year......

You're missing my point. I am NOT excited that we are in 11th place out of 12, far from it!!!! I started this thread because those of us who remember hating the egg suckers with every fiber of our being would find total joy in seeing MSU in last place....
below us!! It was to give us a good laugh after a VERY frustrating game on Saturday night and nothing more.

Falcon Fanatic is ABSOLUTELY correct. As we all know I'm infuriated that this team is in the position they are in the CCHA. But, one thing I can take pleasure in is seeing MSU behind us...and in last place...Something UNHEARD of. I hate that team with a passion and that fight song makes me want to vomit.
GO GREEN! GO WHITE! GO SUCK AN EGG!
GO FALCONS!!

Sorry Falcon Fanatic, but I'm beyond frustrated with this program. Believe me I'm happy to see State in last place but we all know they won't be there
for long. It would be nice to hear what GC thinks of the program at the moment. Can't we get one of the local papers to put him on the spot about the program and get something out of him. After all these years and nearly
7 full under Paluch I just want us to show some steady improvement to some respectability. Where's my medication ?

How about an "Ask the AD" that doesn't focus entirely on the football program?
So maybe she should edit her first post to just say that MSU is in last place. Would THAT make everyone feel better?

The bottom line is that BG is a bad hockey team. The players are very talented, but they are not being utilized and are not reaching their full potential. The thing that frustrates me the most is seeing an odd man rush and having our own players bumping into each other, knocking each other down, stealing the puck from their teammates and not getting open on the other side of the ice. This kind of bumblebee, swarm to the puck at all costs hockey is why we are losing games. This is a direct result of poor coaching, no doubt about it. Coach Paluch needs to be fired and soon. I don't want to see the rest of my years at this wonderful university mired in mediocrity across the board in all sports (except women's b-ball). This team has potential, but it is being thrown away by Paluch's incompetence

Is your signature supposed to be funny?
It's not.

Don't hate on my signature, Kai Kantola is awesome. Against LSSU he went into the box for elbowing, and when he came out, he skated right over to another LSSU player and crushed him, going right back into the box. The powerplay led to an LSSU goal, but its nice to see someone on the Falcons that can check

Yeah, it's nice to see someone on the Falcons that can send themselves in and out of the box at will to give the opponent a powerplay.
Love Kai, but that logic? (Insert metaphor here.)
