AWESOME NEWS!!

GOOD LUCK DAN!!!!!!!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

The possibility is now there where Stretch may take over for the Baby Pens, meaning a BG guy for the NHL and the A.

Congrats Dan!! This is great news for a great guy! I've always been VERY impressed by Dan and knew he'd be on a fast track to great things since his time in BG. The books he wrote with his Dad are amazing...especially if you love hockey or have someone in your life that loves hockey.

I guess that means Reirden won't be coming back to BG to coach anytime soon! :(

Did ya'll check out their record with the Baby Pens? 35 wins and 16 losses...a great record. I hope for all of the Pens fans out there that he can do the same for the parent club. I was certainly looking forward to a re-match in the Stanley Cup finals this year.

CONGRATS AGAIN DAN AND TODD!!
BEST OF LUCK!!
GO FALCONS!

I'll pass on that :-D but congrats to Dan, got to see him play for a couple season with the former Cincy Ducks of the AHL, sadly at that time I didn't know he went to BG. Anyways good luck to him, except when he plays the Ducks :-D

This has been coming for a while, and Dan is very deserving. The baby Pens have been really excellent during his time there.

Sweet! Quick, somebody hit him up for a big donation!

I remember when he came to BG for the book signing with his dad.

Well, they haven't named Todd coach of W-B yet, hopefully tomorrow. :)
I sure hope he at least get's to finish the season with W-B as head coach. He can show them that he's ready for this step.

In Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, assistant coach Todd Reirden will continue to be a significant part of the coaching staff. The Penguins organization will announce further plans for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton staff on Tuesday.

ROLL ALONG!!!
