We Need the Advice of a Lawyer!!!

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

I have been talking with an attorney today. He has been requesting budget information regarding the ice arena and the athletic department. Becuase this is not his specialty, he says we need the advisement of an attorney who specializes in public finances and budgeting with a good understanding of the laws related to sports and Title IX. If you know of anyone like this PLEASE PM ASAP!

Edit: Ok....I fixed the title of this....my brain is on overload for this and thinking clearly obviously isn't happening right now!! Thanks bgbill!! :-D

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I agree. I don't like the smell of this whole thing, they have kept this all
quiet because they know there would be an uproar and that there is plenty of support from all alumni and ex players for money. The cowards are looking for an easy way to lop off bigger chunks of money. I say we start at the top with the President and her salary. Is she taking a pay cut ??? :vom:

The AD budget is available through the Dept of Education website. The ice arena is budgeted under Recreational Sports.

FF: advisement? What's wrong with advice?
I think you were talking to a lawyer too long.
