Francis is going home, to be an assistant coach at BU.

Next to Terry Flanagan I've always thought that Buddy was the best assistant coach we've ever had. Certainly adds another interesting twist to the BC-BU rivalry.

Wow! I guess now that their kids are out of high school, the coaching bug finally got him again. I don't think he could ever get it out of his system. It's what he is and what he does!! He'll do well there!! I wish him all the best...unless we are playing against him, of course!
Good luck Buddy, you will be missed!! And like Bill said, you gave a LOT to BG!! Thanks for all you did!!!

All joking from the other thread aside, I was actually hoping to see Buddy behind our bench this year as an assistant. One of the great minds of the game. Good luck!

yeah that would have been sweet!!
You can tell when talking to him how much he loves the game! Its very inspiring as a player!
