I posted this on the Free-For-All forum, but thought I should post it here for the alums coming in to town for the alumni outing!!
Getting into BG this weekend may be a bit of a challenge! A national RV convention will be here involving approximately 2600 RV's and about 8,000 people!!! Rigs will be rolling into town throughout the weekend; especially on Saturday and Sunday!!!
If you are heading into town this weekend, you may want to come in on 25! I am sure the I-75 exit will be backed up at times!!!

I am sure HOGO stands for something other than Hockey Golf Outing because we have all been told by well informed individuals that the Athletic Department and University as a whole hates the sport of hockey and is doing everything possible to eliminate the program.

I think there are some tin foil hats that either need adjusting or taken off completely because they are making a bad situation worse.

So who, in your opinion, is wearing the tin foil hat?

I am talking about anyone advocating the demise of ANY other sport in ANY way.
I've said it before, this is an opportunity to put the entire department on solid financial footing one sport at a time. The idea of establishing an endowment for our sports either individually or collectively should have become a reality 30 years ago. Because it wasn't BGSU has lost sports and could lose more. It's unproductive to discuss eliminating one sport or another because of popularity or ability to compete for a real or mythical National Championship. That has been my position since this whole thing started and I thought I had been very clear on that, I guess not.

I'm not disagreeing with anything you're saying here. It is a great opportunity if the administration will allow it.

I thought they were reopening the HOJO -- I was looking forward to some all-you-can-eat fried clams.

first off the MOHO extravaganza is well, a real sightl..one would have thought it was an insane tailgate that surrounded the stadium, the rink, the field house, oh wait if you had come in on 24 you might have thought, less the noise that the tractor pull was in town by all the coaches at the fairgrounds, church....wow. That is all I can say.
Anyway, I did not see all the players, but BH was loaded that is for sure.
