Did anyone else notice the MONSTER hits Rogo was throwing against the boards tonight? This is the first time I have ever noticed him playing so physical a game, and you know what, he's DAMN good at it!

Maybe he was trying to make up for the fact that Sitko is still out!!! He was awesome last night!!!!

Rogo did a great job on one penalty kill where he out-huslted the MU defender to the puck behind the MU net, and got it to a streaking BG forward in front of the net. After a great move to go to the backhand that had the G beat, he clanked it off the post. Great hustle that doesn't show up in a stat sheet.

Great job last night by the Falcons. We came from Mansfield, OH and brought seven people to the game!

Rogo and Jonathan Sig. were just outstanding last night. Those 2 both deserved stars for that game. James is playing with some serious fire as well, glad that head-over-heals flip he took didnt hurt him, that was scary!

I agree, that WAS a scary moment!! I would like to see a replay of that one!!! I have felt that Unger has been playing like a maniac all year. Not so much Friday night, but every other game I have seen, he has been really incredibly fun to watch!!

I don't need to keep hearing more references to things like fat punters and wondering like mad what they mean...

That refers to something we made up at Joe Louis back in the 80's (when we were always there for the playoffs!) MSU fans seemed to be all over the place (they considered it their home ice) and would get their "go green....go white" chant going back and forth. We felt obligated to insert "go suck an egg!" right after each "go white". Really got some old lady wearing an ugly green hat pissed off. It's stuck ever since. We even had pins made up.

Ah, those were the days!

OMG! I forgot about that old bat!! Geez she was pissed at me!! We were beating MSU in the Semis at the Joe (after losing to them WAAAY toooo many times and won that game and the final against LSSU. (That was our last chanpionship up there, I think) That old lady shook her finger at me and screamed, "You're disgusting!!" All we were doing was cheering for our team!! That was Paluch's senior year, btw!! And just to clarify...the "Go Green, Go White, Go suck an Egg" cheer was started by Findlay Falcon's son (a former Freddie) and his co-horts several years before that, I think. Findlay Falcon, help us out here!!

I remember the old bat too. Way too funny. As to my son and Go Green etc, I don't remember for sure, but I do think it got it's start in Section A. My beloved son even gave me a sweatshirt to wear at BG/MSU games. A beautiful orange sweatshirt with Go Green, Go White, Go Suck and Egg embroidered in brown on the back. Needless to say I could only wear it to MSU games. But it sure was fun wearing it. And yes, I do remember the GGGWGSAE buttons.

Sometimes the offspring checks into this site. Maybe he could enlighten us if he reads this.
