A friend of mine (Woodmore grad, Elmore resident) is holding an event in Rossford for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on September 12. Along with this event there will be a reverse raffle. Why do you care, BGSU Hockey Fans???
Here's what Kevin sent me just now. We'll get together this weekend and I'll get some pictures/video of it for you to see...
"Hey, do you want to see if some BG people want to buy tickets to our event? I have a framed 1984 Hockey jersey from the 20th anniversary reunion that I am going to put in the auction with the hockey tickets. Thought that some people you know might be really interested in that!"
I don't know the details, and haven't seen it, but I know it's from a "friends and family" dinner that was held, each table got a jersey as a "door prize" and Kevin got one.
There will also be 4 tickets to the BG/Providence hockey game in the auction courtesy of the athletic department... as well as some other items I'll be posting about soon... but I thought I'd get your hockey memorabilia juices flowing here.
As I said, the event is September 12, at St. George Banquet Hall, 740 Glenwood Rd Rossford, from 6 – 10 p.m. Tix are $50 which includes one entry to the raffle but gets 2 people into the event plus dinner for both.
PM me if you're interested, and I can get you in touch with the organizers.

I've got one of those hanging in my office....with the signature of about 10 National Champions on it.
