Why the schedule changes?

Post by bgmaggot00 »

I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but I'm just now getting around to it. As long as I've been here, the hockey games have always been at one location per weekend (excluding ND), but this year, they've been doing home-away weekends, every week. I don't mind this, as it means there's hockey in BG much more often, but its just a change of pace. Why the change though? Thanks, Jeff

It's been this way as long as I can remember. All of the closer games have been home and home. UM, MSU, OSU, and ND.

Right, none of this seems unfamiliar to me. It's nice to do the home and homes because it gives both schools an event for the weekend, which is fun for us!!! :D

I think in the mid to late 90's they switched the schedule to a two games in one location series weekend kind of format for awhile. I like the home and home much better though.
