It's cool they're doing throwbacks but I just bought a jersey this past year.

Sounds like it's going to be a great design. I've been calling for a return to brown for years.

I think the hockey team is trying to set the record for most jersey changes ever in a decade. We went from orange and white, to black and orange, back to white and orange, now we are white and brown, and have changed the logo about five times in that span.I'm suprised the athletic department let's them do that. I'd be more concerned with getting better players to put in the jerseys.

Agree about the number of jersey changes, but the logo has not changed since they adopted the bird/space ghost logo a few years ago. I'm getting used to the new one, but still prefer the old LT logo, which I have on nearly everything BG!

This just adds to the overall excitement to the season. I only wish the uniforms were sporting our real logo and not the redhawk clone

Composition of Team
SECTION 1. a. A team shall have not more than six players on the ice at any one time while play is in progress. These six players shall be designated as follows: goalkeeper, right defense, left defense, center, right wing and left wing.

b. Each player and each goalkeeper listed in the lineup of each team shall wear an individual identifying number at least 10 inches high on the back of the jersey and at least 4 inches high on the front or on both sleeves. The visiting team shall wear dark-colored jerseys and stockings; the home team shall wear light-colored jerseys and stockings.

Light-colored jerseys (e.g., white, gold, yellow or light blue) may be worn during the regular season by the visiting team only when the teams have agreed before the game. If the teams are unable to agree, the visiting team will wear dark-colored jerseys.

There's been talk of eliminating all of these uniform-color rules in all NCAA sports but nothing yet. The rule was originally instituted for the age of black and white TV as a way to contrast the different teams but in today's world of 3D TVs I don't see that rule lasting.

lol BGDrew....I know the rule....im not dumb...I just feel like you said with todays bright colored designs and high definition television It shouldnt matter...its easy to see the difference between brown and say a blue or red....Id understand if we were asking to wear orange at home when miami or ohio state comes to town...thats ridiculous....but a brown falcon sweater on the ice against say michigans yellow could work...or even osu or miamis red....the only team I see it not really working well against would be ferris and there dark maroon jerseys. personally Im just saying to have these new jerseys and only a select few fans like myself that travel will get to enjoy them!
