I was told he was at practice today, but has come down with the flu. Hopefully he gets healthy soon. There are weasels to smack around next weekend.

I found it on gametracker right after I asked, obviously after the game was over. A loss is disappointing, but a weekend split is good, and in the long run, getting the win on the road in this particular split will likely help more than it shows right now. You expect to win at home, but getting confidence to win road games determines your success. (Okay, maybe that was a little wordy and full of crap, but basically I think I'm right. Right?

)

We had our opportunities tonight, really could have used Sigalet tonight, as some of the goals let in were a little soft, IMO. It was good to hear the goal horn though, could be a little louder, but definately cool.

You are definitely right, TG1996!! The win last night at Munn was HUGE in more ways than we can count right now. Having Siggy Sr. out hurt, but I do think the guys played hard all night long tonight. They didn't give up and Michigan State is a very desperate team right now with their standings situation. Scoring 4 goals tonight was also a big plus. Think back when there were many games we couldn't get more than 1 or 2 goals a night. We are coming along people...in a lot of ways. Next week will be a HUGE weekend.
Great crowd, btw!!! Good to see so many people come out. It was a good game, fast paced, fun to watch, all except for that final score.
GO FALCONS!!!!!!
SWEEP THE WEASELS!!!!!!!!!!!!

The biggest diferenc e I noticed between this year and last is that this year's team is willing to open it up a little and press the issue. They seem a lot more confident in their ability to generate scoring chances. They can take a chance on giving up some scoring chances thois year because they have the capability to score a few themselves.
It's easier to do that when you have Sigalet back there between the pipes though

We had planned to, But Laurel was kind of spooked by the crowd, so we just kept her planted between us.
Next week is "in play" . There's a major dog show over in Cleveland next weekend. If the Pomeranians are showing that day/evening, I'll be at the show with Pam. Her dog isn't entered, but her mentor has a dog or two in the field.

I was very excited by how many people were at the hockey game and how many people didn't leave after the second period. Even though we didn't win, the place was rocking tonight!
And the band was awesome...as always!

I asked "Where's Siggy?" too. Just what I noticed was intensity. BG had great intensity till MSU scored that last goal in the 3rd. At that point the team just looked dead. I hope that Frazee improves imensely before next season because he just looked bad in net in the 1st.

If he DOES improve, I bet they name a street after him!!!
And Fanatic.. I forgot to mention this before, but I was the guy at the UT tailgate wearing the "old school" brown hockey jersey. Ya gave me a thumbs up and "yeah, hockey!", and I remembered ya from the UT tent last year, but you were on the phone at the time. I'd hate to interrupt important business!!

Ok, I remember seeing you! I was on the phone with my husband BGFan, trying to direct him into the parking lot where we were tailgating. You should have come over to say HI!!!
Regarding Frazee, I think he is a better goalie than he showed last night. I think he was probably pretty nervous when he found out he was going to start. I felt bad for him. Horrell, on the other hand, looked a lot better than he did in the Wayne State game/mess. Oh well....game over.....time to focus on the Weasels!!!
GO FALCONS!!
SWEEP THE WEASELS!!
