Would be nice if the program could buy the medal, and make it a center piece of an effort assist Mark.

I had hoped that some "patriot" would have stepped up, bought it, and returned it as a favor to Mark's service to his country in 1980. I guess Mark sold it originally to pay for medical bills. I can't think of any other country that plays hockey where that would have happened.
