If I read this right, you're saying the Department of RecWell should shut up and put the sound system and other major renovation expenses in their budget? Never mind the condition of the building that was inherited from the Athletic Department when it was transferred over?
If so, I'm just gonna sit back and watch on this one.

Or he could be saying that the athletic department should put up some money too... the title says "Alumni shouldn't be expected to fix all."
Either way, it doesn't really matter... budget squabbling within the University is political and crappy, and the money is all coming from the same place regardless. It just takes some priorities.

I'm saying that it's pretty damn frustrating that 2 major departments at a University can barely work well together and that hockey gets stuck in the crosshairs.
