I'm thankful for: a lawn that needs mowed, gutters that need cleaned and windows that need washed...becauce it means we have a home to live in.

I'm thankful for: income taxes to be paid, and a hectic schedule full of meetings, appointments and stress related headaches...because it means I have a job.

I'm thankful for: utility bills, car payments and the fact that my slacks feel a bit snug...because they mean we have a warm house, reliable transportation and plenty to eat.

I'm thankful for the mess that will have to be cleaned up after today's festivities...because it means we will have had the joy of a housefull of family and friends.

I'm thankful for the dull throbing pain in my hands and lower back...because they assure me that I'm alive.
