Any word on Bronson?

Post by FlagCityFalcon »

He looked like he was in some pain from the high stick he took...does anybody know his status for this weekend?

Coach said last night that it was a MCL injury and a possible ACL injury...he was due for an MRI last night or this morning, and they would know more then. But that he'd definitely be out for the weekend.

it's really too bad for Jeremy...hopefully he heals quickly!!

Speaking from experience, if it's the MCL, it's likely the ACL as well. This stinks! I hope it's just a sprain and he'll be able to re-hab and get back soon. Surgery is no fun

What I want to know is how does he hurt his knee on a high sticking call? I didn't see all if it, but it would seem to me that he was hog-tied and his blade got stuck as he was taken down - no?

I honestly didn't see what happened, I just saw Jeremy holding his head and then in obvious pain.

I was told that he was cross checked to the back of the head and then his knees were tangled up with the guy who hit him. Again, I'm not sure and maybe someone had a better view than me?

I was sitting right at the north end when Jeremy went down. I didn't see the hit as it was away from the puck (which just makes it dirtier (fu**in' State...)), but I did see that the spartan bastard was on top of him for quite while with his stick near Jeremy's head while he was screaming in pain.

I just hope that he's alright and can come back relatively soon. ACL surgery would be awful.

I'll be keeping him in my prayers.

I talked with him at the rink today. He has the MRI tomorrow. He is using crutches and not putting any weight on it. Hopefully it will not be as bad as everyone thinks it is. He said he felt it "pop" when it happened though, which is not a good thing!!

Good Luck, Jeremy!!! Get well soon!!!!

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
