Jimmy Spratt was just signed by the Toledo Walleye.

It's kind of a domino effect. The Red Wings Chris Osgood is out 6 to 8 weeks with a reoccuring groin problem. So, Joey MacDonald has been called up from Grand Rapids. And I would assume, that one of the Walleye regulars has been called up to Grand Rapids. And since it's going to be awhile before everything is back to normal, Nick Vitucci had to sign a back-up for the Walleye. Good for Jimmy. I hope he gets a good chance to show his stuff in the ECHL.
