What's Next For the CCHA?

Post by psc2009 »

I'd argue that the loss of three "prestige" schools will sting more now than in 2013. The CCHA is still a great conference and it doesn't need to panic. Here are several suggestions on what the conference could do. Personally, I like No. 2 the most. Taking Michigan Tech and Alaska-Anchorage would be a real coup for the league!

I don't see Anchorage happening for the exact reason why Fairbanks and Anchorage aren't already in the same conference to begin with, no one wants to have to travel to Alaska every season

If Alaska and Alaska-Anchorage could set aside a corner of a dorm for visiting hockey teams to crash in and internet access to keep up on classes teams could travel to Alaska every other year and play both teams on consecutive weekends.
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.
