Freismuth, Pageau, Rushing won't return to Falcon hockey team.

I don't believe it. If Birdman isn't confirming these departures, then I refuse to believe Bergeron just because he is the head coach. Does he have the credibility of Birdman? I just don't believe it. Nope. Not at all.

Not too surprising looking at their ice time and the larger-than-the-senior-class incoming recruiting class.

It is true. Also, JST won't be returning either. Coach feels these guys are not part of the solution.

I hate to say it but this is what's needed with the new coaching regime. Out with the old and in with the new! It's never easy to watch kids go who CHOSE to come to BGSU and help try to turn around the program, but it became pretty evident this year that they just couldn't cut it.

Adding Birdman to my ignore list, doesn't do much good, if every other post, people are quoting or mentioning him. Just saying.
In any case, it is a team, I don't think being asked to play for a school represents an immutable contract to always play for it. Fail to get the grades, most any other grant will get yanked. Not that you can equate goals scored to a GPA, but there has to be some measure of good-faith effort by an athlete. If it isn't there, or if one's success isn't up to par, the coach can bench you. If that doesn't meet with an athletes aspirations, they have the right to go away.

I'm not, I'm annoyed, I add him to ignore, and since it cuts out any posts he makes, I can only assume folks mentioning him because he did.

I wouldn't have been surprised if JST had left in the middle of the season, such as after he was a healthy scratch the second time.

Hyphen won't be back next year? Eh. Thats not too much of a concern to me.
Freismuth though, is a nice guy, and I hate to see him go.
