The Hockey Team visit

I figured I'd share this story, as it was pretty awesome and definitely one of the highlights of my weekend.
As many of you are aware if you were anywhere near campus this weekend, but Dance Marathon was held from Saturday morning until Sunday evening. Theres always a scheduled block near noon on the second day, where all the sports teams come in and do an activity of some kind with the Dancers. The Dancers rotate through the stations as the hour progresses until they've visited all the stations.
Unfortunately, right before my team (Purple) was supposed to head to the Hockey station, it was our turn for Lunch. When we finished and came back, the activities were over and all the athletes were heading home. However, even after much of the team left, I saw two players still sitting back shooting tennis balls back and forth, one I recognized as Andrew Hammond, the other I didn't recognize, was Max Grover. I asked if I could play a bit with them, and they agreed. We talked about hockey for a bit, and they remembered meeting me and my friends several times throughout the year at away games or on campus events (or at the bars
) After 10 or 15 minutes they said they had to get going, but wished me luck, and they posed for a picture with me. As I was walking away, in true Mean Joe Greene style, Hammond says "Hey man" as I turn back, he tosses me the stick and says, "Keep the stick"
We looked up the stick later, it's a Toews Warrior Dolomite Pro Hockey Stick. It's really nice too.
Totally picked me up and got me motivated for the last 6 hours of DM and gave me a pretty awesome memory (and souvenir too)
