Awesome skating live. Too many great things in one weekend. Unfortunately not overwhelming crowd for any of them. Good part is great seats for us.

She is AMAZING!!! And makes it look so effortless, but you know it's not! That was so neat to be able to watch her skate!
(If I knew how to post a pic, I'd post the one I took of her at the autograph table afterwards.

So Czisny is a two-time national champion, winning the championship in 2009 and 2011. Reading her wikipedia page it looks like she finished 10th in 2010? Very odd to go from the top to the bottom like that (in an olympic year too, unfortunately) and then bounce back so quickly. It says that her sister was diagnosed with cancer that year, but outside of that, does anybody know why she did so poorly in 2010? Guaranteed, if Czisny had finished top 3 in the nationals in 2010 and gone to Vancouver, she'd be a household name by now. She probably wouldn't be competing for gold and challenging Mao Asada and Kim Yu-Na, but just getting there would've been a tremendous accomplishment in of itself.
I wonder if she's looking toward making it to Sochi in 2014.

I believe she dropped Julie Berlin as her coach and her current coaches are Yuka Sato and Jason Dungjen at the Detroit Skating Club.
