Ken Morrow Auctioning Off BIG ITEMS!!

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

Ken Morrow’s game-worn Team USA ‘Miracle on Ice’ hockey jersey up for auction

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck- ... 3QD;_ylv=3

Holy Crap!!! He's also auctioning off his BG Letterman Ring (didn't know they ever had those!) and two of his BG jerseys (white from 75-78, orange from 77)! Please, some well funded BG person, snap those up and donate at least one of them to the program to hang in the Alumni Lounge!!!

Here's the full list! I'm drooling with jealously...

FALCON HOCKEY FOREVER!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."
~~USCHO Poster
"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I certainly hope he's not selling this stuff because he NEEDS the money.

After hanging on to the jersey for over three decades, why is Morrow parting with it now?

"Just recently I'm starting to evaluate things and do some planning for the future," said Morrow during a phone interview on Tuesday from his home in Kansas City. "My hockey stuff was included in all that. You start going through those things and I just came to the realization that I couldn't keep it all. So I've gone through things that I did want to pass along and keep, and give people a chance to have a piece of history."

2 weeks left and the BG jerseys are only $400 and $440. Way too tempting to spend the tax return.

If that really is his Olympic jersey...it's historically significant and I want it in my store...

Did you see that the bid for the Olympic jersey is up to over $40,000? Can't imagine how high it's going to go!! Wow!

As much as I'd LOVE to have one of the BG jerseys, I'm sure the final bid would be way over what I'd want to shell out, unfortunately.

It'd be great if we could get something, for that matter anything, up on the BGSU auction page for hockey in general.

Go Falcon Hockey!!!

There is also a lot of Garry Galley equipment including an NCAA champ signed stick with other teammates. Price is pretty decent for a loot like that.

Did anyone bid? You have to be able to log-in to see the winning bids.... I was hoping some one had bid and can tell us the closing bids on the two BG sweaters and the Miracle on Ice Sweater.

Thanks in advance.
