Interesting game last night and that was much closer than the final score indicates. Eagles obviously had the better skill set, but Ferris stuck with their game plan and showed much more discipline than Minnesota did on Thursday. Congratulations Coach York ... your comments at the end once again showed a lot of class.

Very proud of how Ferris represented the CCHA!!! They had a HUGE fan following down in Tampa. In the semis, they were the loudest group in the arena. It reminded me of the big BG fan group that was up at the Joe. In fact, their loss last night seemed as disappointing as our loss to Michigan in the CCHA semis (ok, maybe not quite the same...). Had more than one Ferris fan, give us the "evil eye" when they saw us in our BG clothes. I quickly told them we were rooting for them, which got big smiles and a thumbs up from them! Several complimented BG on the amazing run we had through the CCHA post season and said they expected us to be a real player in the standings next year. One told us thank you, for the wake up call they needed! And a Michigan guy said, "They should thank YOU GUYS, since YOU are the reason they are here!!
