Weekend of the 13th & 27th = 12 hours of Falcon athletics. tailgate the football game, football at 3:30 then I might be one of the few that leave in the 3rd quarter to go to the hockey game.

I don't think ever once in history has there been this much excitement to begin a season after the team finished last in the conference the previous. The way those guys finished ... if they can keep that elevated level of play and intensity, we have a chance to make some SERIOUS noise in the conference's final season. I can't say I've ever been this excited about a hockey season starting ... normally I'm not this excited until about December or so!!
GO FALCONS!!!

I'm not wild about the new orange jerseys. Which is strange because I liked this version:
There's something about the lettering and striping on the new ones that makes it look like a highway pylon. Why didn't we just stick with the brown ones from last year?

I don't quite know why, but the perspective/optical illusion of Coach B with just the gloves on and the players in full pads reminds me of Tim Conway as the character Dorf. Maybe he was going for the BG reference.

After being about the ONLY BG team who wore Brown and Orange, please don't tell me that these new unis are BLACK and Orange!

It's hard to tell in that picture but I blew up the size and I don't think it's black. It doesn't look as dark as the coaches' warm-ups and the gloves definitely look brown, not black.

I LOVE the new uniforms! I love that the orange jerseys have brown shoulders! The Athletic Dept just released a pic of the two captain together in the new orange jerseys. Can someone post that pic? I don't know how to do that or I would.

That ugly, oversized CCHA patch really breaks up the continuity of a great looking uniform.
