Falcons v. Alaska
Bowling Green had a great weekend earning four points out of a possible six. I think this series will be a turning point for the team. We were able to produce six goals on the weekend and Hammond only gave up five (and one shootout goal). Hammond is hitting his stride and is starting to give really solid play. Also, the team kept fighting, even being down a goal with only a minute to go. Seems like we had to fight the referees tonight, but we still were able to tie the game. Can't wait to see what the team can do in their next game.

Agree, getting those 4 points this weekend was HUGE for the boys!! We need to play a solid 60 minute game against the Irish. No let downs!!!
GO FALCONS!!
BEAT THE IRISH!!
GO FALCONS!!
BEAT THE IRISH!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Beating the number one team in our league would definately be a confidence boost. Hope we can pull off a win. I know we can do it, just need to play a solid game.

Which includes 60 minutes of solid play and taking VERY few penalties!!!Falcon Hockey Fan wrote:Beating the number one team in our league would definately be a confidence boost. Hope we can pull off a win. I know we can do it, just need to play a solid game.
