Tuesday ND
Re: Tuesday ND
Thanks, Debbie Downer.
Keep in mind that the everybody above us has played 3 more games. Our winning pct would actually put us in alone in 8th.

Re: Tuesday ND
While the win over Michigan feels great, the reality is a win over ND will put us in a tie with them (scUM, that is). Looking ahead at the schedule, points will be very hard to come by.Freddie wrote:Thanks, Debbie Downer.

EDIT: The next 5 games are against the current top 3 teams in the league.

Re: Tuesday ND
For anyone in the Buckeye Cable area, the game is on live on BCSN.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

If you're within the BCSN viewing area, you're close enough to come to the game!

Bowling Green extended its unbeaten streak to five games Tuesday with a 4-2 over fifth-ranked Notre Dame in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association game at the Ice Arena. The Falcons are 4-0-1 in their last five games to improve to 7-10-5 overall and 4-7-3-1 in the CCHA. BG is 5-1-2 in its last eight games. The Falcons, who played a strong game most of the night, scored three straight goals after ND’s Bryan Rust opened the scoring at 16:44 of the first period. BG rallied to take a 2-1 lead in the second period on goals from Ryan Peltoma at 13:03 and Dan DeSalvo just 80 seconds later. Peltoma’s goal was his first of the season, and DeSalvo’s goal was his first since Nov. 16. He hadn’t scored in nine straight games. The Falcons increased the lead 3-1 in the third period on Ryan Carpenter’s goal at 12:19. ND cut the deficit on T.J. Tynan’s power-play goal at 17:01, but Bryce Williamson restored BG’s two-goal lead just 35 seconds later. The BG penalty-killing also was solid, holding ND to one goal in four attempts. The Falcons killed off a minor in the first 17 seconds of the game and a major near the midway point of the period. BG held a 31-22 edge in shots during the game. The Falcon power play was 0-of-6. ND is 15-7, 11-3. The Falcons face No. 10 Western Michigan this weekend in a home-and-home series. The teams play Friday in BG and Saturday in Kalamazoo.
