The hits just keep on comin' for the Canadians. In the midst of an 8-game winning streak, more great news has come to the front this week. Kevin Dufour, the team's second leading scorer on the year, has signed has committed to attending Bowling Green University on a hockey scholarship starting in the fall of this year. He'll join former Canadians defenceman Rusty Hafner on the team next year.
Dufour has been a great addition to the team according to head coach Jason Clarke and has been a point-a-game player this year. He's second on the team with 22 goals and has added 26 assists for 48 points in 48 games.
'We were fortunate enough to trade for Kevin last summer and he's certainly proven his worth to this team,' said Clarke. 'He's worked really hard this year for us and is being rewarded for his efforts.'
