Good Win tonight.

One thing I noticed tonight from recent home games. Though many of those have been against Notre Dame, a highly ranked Western Michigan and a ranked Niagara team. Seemed as though the building lacked the buzz of some of the more recent home game. I'd hate to think that this is the way games are going to be in the WCHA. With the likes of OSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Miami off the league schedule next year are we going to lack the extra juice in the building.

I was shocked that there were a lot of students there, and the lack of cheering. The cheers were also really short. If the student section wants to get the rest of the fans involved in cheering, make them longer! An easy way to get everyone involved is if the ENTIRE student section yelled "BG" and waited for the rest of the crowd to respond with "SU!"

Good win though, we played a complete game. Now we need to play a complete game tomorrow and win...and hope UM will lose!

Good to see the Falcons get back in the win column. Hoping they can get to .500 and over soon.

Excellent, relentless effort. The boys gave up some odd-man rushes early-on but tightened-up. They dominated LSSU, especially in the 3rd period when two Falcons kept the puck in the offensive zone while the others went for a change. I finally noticed that the PK is more aggressive. I don't know when it changed, but it was pretty passive in the first half of the season.

I thought the crowd was good, but it was quiet-ish in the second half of the 3rd. I remarked to Mrs. BG84 that the fans are so used to winning it's not exciting any more (I usually have earbuds in, so I hear only part of the noise.)
