All BG High School Finals

How cool is it that BOTH head coaches in last weekend's Ohio High School championship game are BG Falcons!
Shaker Heights (Mike Bartley BGSU/1974) beat defending champion Sylvania Northview (Mike Jones BGSU/2000) 3-1.

AWESOME! Didn't know that Shaker Heights was coached by a former Falcon!

AWESOME! Didn't know that Shaker Heights was coached by a former Falcon!

Well before your time. Bartley played from 1970-74, and is still #9 on BG all-time scoring list (118-104-222) in 138 games. He had a brief minor league pro career, and has been HC at Shaker Hts for 37 years. In fact, he's the winningest coach in Ohio high school history (640-348-36)...I believe this was his 4th state title.
