End of the first and BG trails 2-0. Board says shots are 7-6 in favor of BG, but I think that's being very generous. Absolutely pathetic period. No hustle, no idea where they are on the ice. Somebody better start finding their heads or this game is going to be ugly in a hurry.

Hey, the boys decided to show up and play. Berkle and Cooper with goals and it's 2-2 at the end of the 2nd. Shots are shown as 15-11 in favor of BG.

With a Berkle short handed goal, we're heading to overtime 3-3. Shots are 21-20 in favor of BG.

COOPER! They announced a scoring change on the first goal, giving it to Cooper instead of Berkle, so the game winner is a hat trick!

I'd be very interested to hear an explanation for Walker getting that 5 minute major. There was nothing from behind about that check. And it wasn't very hard either because the ref didn't even fall down.

I'll stop short of saying it was a flat-out "make-up call", but I don't think Walker would have got the gate if the earlier call hadn't sent one of Mankato's guys off. Quite honestly, I didn't think either was worthy of a major.

We figured that Bergeron had a few choice words for the boys after 1st period, but no, the seniors took over the locker room and it REALLY made a difference! That is AWESOME!! Just what senior leadership should be doing!!

We watched the video feed which had replays and I didn't think it warranted a 5 either. But killing off those 7 minutes with more quality chances than they had was HUGE!!
