BG's in a tough spot especially having next week off (no-league games), essentially BG needs to win three of the last four. I think that would put us in good shape going into the playoffs. However, the way BG has been playing lately two out of four would be good. Sad thing is if we split both weekends I think good chance will be on the road first round, possibly in Alaska. This weekend will determine a lot. Let's go BG.

A sweep by either team this weekend will put the winner in 3rd, and the loser could be as low as 6th or 7th. Alaska beat Tech tonight so they are one point back from BG and Anchorage. Lake Superior beat Northern so they are now three points back. Middle of the 2nd and Bemidji is down 1-0 to Ferris. If Bemidji pulls it out, they would also be one point back. There is ZERO room to lose points right now. BG is only 4 points "IN" the playoffs. Not just home ice, actually IN the playoffs. It's absolutely nuts.

End it the second period and it's still 2-0 BG. Sounds like Burke is keeping BG in this one.

A few alums here. They're happy UAA and BG are in the same conference. Anchorage much nicer than Fairbanks.

Sure wish this feed was clearer! Very fuzzy/out of focus unless they zoom in. shaky camera work too. I am impressed with the announcers (other than the comments about Delgadillo...) and how many positive comments they have made about BG and our play. Pretty fair announcing which is always nice.

Come on boys! FINISH THIS!!
BEAT 'EM!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Anything other then a win tonight pretty much seals our fate in being on the road first road. Lake Superior has Alabama next week so they could even pass us in the next week. Just have to stay above northern. It's pretty bad when we are talking just getting into the playoffs. A lot of what if this season..........carpenter doesn't get hurt (twice), mingo is still eligible, etc, etc, etc, the list goes on. Come on boys need a win tonight.

Perrier's first goal of the season puts BG up 1-0 with 5 minutes to go in the first.
