taking the fun out of teddy bear toss

The annual teddy bear toss is this Friday, 1/23, at the game against LSSU.
Per bgsufalcons.com, the teddy bears are to be put in a plastic grocery bag. That takes a lot of the color and variety out of the event, not to mention that plastic grocery bags choke the Baby Jesus.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.

I heard the reasoning was that the hospital they go to won't accept them if they're not bagged up. Probably a concern about the Bears getting wet, growing mold/mildew. They ask people to bag them so they don't have to.
