Very slow start tonight.
Down 2 - 0
Cut it to 2 - 1 by end of period
Tate with a 10minute penalty late in the 1st for what the announcers said "must of been something verbal"

He threw his broken stick into the student section. This one is going to get rather chippy.

LSSU has a lot of extra stuff going on and our guys are letting it get them off their game.

Agreed, started off ugly early. First two periods have been a bummer

Defining weekend. We can't get 4 points this weekend against the 53rd ranked team we don't deserve being in the NCAA tournament. This is awful to listen to must be even worse to watch.

Even worse that we are losing................... Tech is losing to Alaska in the 3rd. Could have moved into sole position of second tonight. Lets go boys, there's still time.

Didn't happen tonight. We'll be at the game tomorrow night so hopefully the effort will be better.

Tonight was the first night of 7 straight weeks of playing terrible teams. Even if we only lose 3 or 4 games, we're screwed. And we're already 1/3 of the way there in one night.

OK, now we find out what this team is REALLY made of.
It's up to the leadership (coaches, captains, upper classmen) to decide.
A bad loss like this COULD spell the end of the line, OR it could be a wake up call that sends us to the next level.
We can't sleep-walk through the first 12 minutes, dig ourselves into a 2-0 hole then press for miracles.
Got to give a bunch of credit to LSSU. They wanted it more. Have not seen the stats yet, but they blocked a crapload of shots, and their goalie only gave up one rebound all night.

That loss didn't hurt our PWR nearly as much as we feared...we drop from #3 to #5.
We were helped by:
Wins by Robert Morris, Clarkson, Minnesota State and Bemidji.
Losses by Minn-Duluth, Harvard, Miami, Vermont, Yale and Mass-Lowell.
We cant count on getting help like that...almost a 'perfect storm'.
I wish I could be there Saturday night. I'm predicting an old-fashioned, red-faced, butt-kicking.
