The next two weekends against Ferris are going to be huge. BG has had troubles with them in the past and Ferris is essentially playing for pride and WCHA playoff seeding at this point. They're a dangerous team and the team better be ready, they haven't been the past couple of weeks.

Fascinating look at the standings.
BG has a great shot. 7-8 wins would be a lot safer than 6 though.
I was pretty negative in another thread about the teams recent efforts, but I'd say there's a greater likelihood they pull it together and go on a real tear from here on into the final five. And what better way to do that than beating the crap out of ferris?

Three series remaining, two at home and two against the bottom third of the league. Hope the team remains focused to finish the season strong and to gear up for the WCHA playoffs.

"#14 Bowling Green – Needs to win to hang onto it’s position, or perhaps even rise a bit if #11 Minnesota falters. If Bowling Green loses, they’ll be hoping #15 Michigan, #17 St Cloud St, #19 Vermont, and #22 Harvard lose, lest they overtake Bowling Green."

MInnesota loses to OSU and we move up one slot to #13 in the PWR.
Edit: And with a few more final scores we move up to #11.

Time to take care of business in the WCHA playoffs. A sweep of NMU and a few losses by other teams should solidify an at-large berth.

#11 Bowling Green would likely be pushed down below the bubble if eliminated this weekend. It would take a lot of luck to climb back onto the bubble while idle and have most of the conference tournaments won by top ranked teams.
If Bowling Green advances, they would still probably need a semifinal win to stay on the bubble.

I picked all higher seed favorites but had BG losing to Michigan Tech and BG ended no lower than 14. Picked #6 seed to win the Big 10 and BG finished #15.
Just don't need any upsets and it looks like BG will be fine

Unless, of course, it's BG doing the upsetting!
