End of the 1st, BG leads 1-0. Goal was scored by Hawkins. Ferris has hit the post 3 or 4 times.

I don't know who is counting their sog but there is no freaking way that they have 31 shots on goal to our 18. They did NOT have 20 shots on goal in the second period! I've been watching the whole game and we've controlled a heckuva lot of the play. They can pad the stats all they want but it doesn't change the score.

Let them pad the SOG in their favor. It only makes Burke's save percentage look better.

a tie tomorrow will do it, I believe.
two points for McClain, scoring from every line, and fine game from Burke.
Falcons are rolling!

Pretty good game. A double series sweep would be awesome.
Gotta love Tommy Burke too, that guy doesn't know the word quit, even after the relentless pressure to keep getting starts. He sure has come a long ways from his rough freshman year and his difficulties in junior hockey.

yep, we want the sweep!
a Ferris sweep and two more wins vs. NMU/Anchorage/Huntsville puts us into the regionals, barring something really freaky. three more wins out of six, we're golden and only have to worry about getting South Bend instead of Providence.
but if you're talking WCHA home ice, a point does it.

Since Tech and Mankato have to play 2 games against each other yet, 2nd place isn't unreasonable. Need the sweep tonight to keep it within reach. Clinching home ice would be nice, but there's more that can be achieved.
