"People who've never been to Bowling Green, didn't go to Bowling Green, they drive by and they don't know what they're passing by," Bylsma said. "They don't know what they're missing. … I'm talking about the people and the place that Bowling Green is. I'm always excited to come back and be part of that.

"I always tell people you have to go to Bowling Green to understand it."

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS!!! :supz:

Also congratulations to Dan DeSalvo for winning the highest honor given to a student-athlete – The Falcon Medal of Honor. The award is given to one male and one female student-athlete who embody the essence of the qualities BGSU Athletics hold important for all student-athletes.

And congratulations to Mike Sullivan who was named the (male) Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year!

Well done, Hockey Boys!!!! :supz:

Bylsma is walking into a great stiuation in Buffalo. They have a prospect pool that already ranks in the top three and they have four picks (2, 21, 31, 51) in the first two rounds of what looks to be the deepest draft in years. They also have guys like Evander Kane and Zach Bogosian who haven't even turned 25 yet. I know Toronto paid him an obscene amount of money, but Mike Babcock was nuts to turn down the Buffalo gig.

Wow...Buffalo has a lot of Italians living there. Kinds surprised they would go there with the Mafia theme
