AHL preseason game?

Post by jpfalcon09 »

The BG athletics Twitter account (@BGAthletics) just tweeted a tease that an AHL event is coming to the BGSU Ice Arena on October 2nd, can only assume this will be a preseason game?

This would probably involve the Lake Erie Monsters, right? That would be fun. Good idea.

Most likely. Would be a great get for BG to have Lake Erie and Grand Rapids meet up.

Where did you see the announcement?
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Ticketmaster is mishandling all ticket sales for this event.

Per BG Ticket Office rep, it is BG's intention to let buyers pick their seats, and they conveyed that to Ticketmaster. Currently, Ticketmaster is picking GA or Reserved, "best available". I may pass on this one.
