Falcons vs. The Lakers

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

FYI: Friday's game starts at 7:37, due to the basketball game at the Stroh that starts at 6.

Sweep The Lakers!!!
One Game At A Time!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Going to OT tied at 1.

It's like Graff and Rutherford came out of retirement for this game.

Ends in a tie. Good effort from BG tonight. Hopefully, we can make it through the weekend without a major injury. LSSU seemed to be targeting a few key players.

Gotta keep the game out of the gutter. Easiest way for an inferior team to hang around. Having said that hats off to their goalie, he had a heck of a night.

The game going in the gutter is the responsibility of the zebras. They lost control last night when they refused to call the crap after the whistle. It's absolutely unacceptable for a player to take a punch to the face after the whistle, and nobody goes to the box. I applaud our guys for keeping their discipline and composure by NOT retaliating the way I would have. Call the game the way it should be called, and we skate out with 2 points. Let the cheap crap go uncalled, pray our guys don't get seriously injured.

They are so goonish. Wish we could have got some wins, but their goalie wad very impressive. Hard to believe that Alabama scored 10 goals last weekend.

I don't know what's worse: the crap the refs let go, or the fact they couldn't follow play well enough to stay out of the way.

No kidding. The zebras had absolutely no control over either game. I didn't even feel bad for the one who barely moved when a defenseman circled back towards him and took an elbow to the face.
