End of the first, BG leads 1-0. Powerplay goal by Dufour.
Guys are definitely going to have to keep their heads on a swivel for this one.

Horrible 3rd. Going to overtime tied at 2. All 4 goals so far have been powerplay.

Take the W and run.
Defense was good.
Offense...........................brutal. First shot on goal was more then 7 minutes into the game and that consisted of a PP as well which we didn't get a shot off. I thought the defense was the problem with the team boy was I wrong......offense better get it in gear or goalies are going to need to stand on the head this year.

I've posted my gallery and the post game press conferences on our recap. You'll hear Hawkins say they had a team meeting after the game.
Back at the grind tomorrow. Hoping we can shut UAH down early.

The team is just very avg....we're certainly not a top 20 team....but on the bright side no one else in the WCHA is anything special either. The schedule's been very soft so far....Really have let some games get a away.

A student got hit by a vehicle on Mercer before last night's game and is in hospital. Speedy recovery!
Drive safe, folks.

That is too bad, but certainly not surprising. I had four students walk across Alumni Drive after the basketball game in the dark the other night paying NO attention to traffic. It is time for campus police to start ticketing for jaywalking etc, or there are going to be some bad accidents. Students think everwhere is a crosswalk, plus they are invincible!

From where I was walking, it looked like the accident was at the crosswalk, could be wrong though. But you make a valid point, students just walk everywhere because they think cars will stop for them, and it is dangerous.

Or put in an elevated crosswalk like they should have done years ago. The student was struck in the crosswalk, not jaywalking.

Amen to the elevated crosswalk.

Doubt it would get used very much, even less than the crosswalks.
