ISS Hockey's Top 5 from NCAA
Scouting service offers insight on the top draft-eligible players who spent 2015-16 in college.
Falcon Adam Smith is the list:
4. Adam Smith, Bowling Green (#103 overall)
Big solid two-way defensemen. Uses his size and range very well. Very good skater, good pivots. Makes good decisions on both sides of the puck. Defends well, competes, takes the body, eliminates his man, can win battles. Good shot from the point. He has potential, playing against older players is giving him a lot of experience. Good mid to late pick in the draft with a chance to become a top-four defenseman.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

We just missed it between 2008-09 and 2009-10. Spratt and JST didn't play together but both played with Eno.
Here's the list of all the draft picks if anybody wants to investigate further.

Apollo,
You always bring such joy to the hockey threads. I get it. You like baseball and think hockey is a drain on the budget. If you don't like hockey, don't go. If you are unhappy with the schedule, don't go. I would not be surprised that with the next 5 years, the leagues will shift again and BG will be in a better place. The program is much better off now than it was six years ago and it will continue to improve. Back in the 1970's BG was in the upstart CCHA that later grew into a hockey power. I am going to support the program as I have for 40 years. Go BG!!!!

You are stupid. And wrong, given that we will have two, possibly 3 next season and numerous other strong pro prospects.apollo wrote:Draft guys don't want to play BG's schedule....too tough playing all those powerhouse programs.

I'm sure all this talent will eventually get us back to the NCAA tournament....I mean by the law of averages we should get in sometime....there's only 59 teams

Suggestion: Put him on your ignore list. Your response is exactly why he does this.Hockey John wrote:Apollo,

Hockey fans are the best....they just refuse to understand that the program is avg...keep ignoring me...I'm one of the few on the forum that actually discuss hockey.
Re: ISS Hockey's Top 5 from NCAA
I'd be more than willing to discuss college hockey with you. However, by the comments and opinions you've expressed you've shown no real background or knowledge of college hockey in 2016. And rather than try to educate yourself you'd rather lay a heavy dose of smug to try and put yourself on a pedestal, talking down about a program that has made steady progress over the last seven years.apollo wrote:Hockey fans are the best....they just refuse to understand that the program is avg...keep ignoring me...I'm one of the few on the forum that actually discuss hockey.
