Hype and discussion? You seem to have confused the Hockey Board and the Football Board. Some of us will post updates during intermission, but other than that we like to concentrate on WATCHING the game as it happens. There will be some discussion after the game is over.

If Bemidji is as bad as their national anthem singer, we're going to win 15-0.

I can't seem to pick this up. 2-0 first period. Can anyone get a vibe as to whether it's nerves or due to the suspension of guys or both? I can only follow with live update.

Regardless of what it is, well below expectations. Not exactly the way to start a season. Acting like their the team that plays Saturday afternoons.......

Ugly 20 minutes. Passes and puck handling are just as bad as the exhibition game.

Seems like the only ones who know it's a real game is Bemidji. Even the officials seem to be in la-la land. Bright spot for BG so far has been Nell.

7 SOG through nearly 30 minutes of hockey. Better get it together offensively our Nell better be first-team all-American if this team is going to meet expectations.

End of 2, BG trails 0-2. Only credited with 2 shots on goal that period. Lots of zone time with pucks going towards the net, but apparently nothing close enough to be called a "save."

Got one back in the third, but lose 1-2. Hopefully, BG decides to play the entire 60 minutes tomorrow night.

Don't worry...National championship isn't until April...plenty of time to figure it out.

Well that was a great exhibition game for Bemidji, maybe we should take their approach?

There's our recap from the game. BG came out flat and Bemidji took advantage. It should be a full house tomorrow night here in Bemidji so it'll be interesting to see how the team reacts.

How the hell do you come out "flat" in you season OPENER?
