vs Ohio State

Sell out is practically assured. Better get there early to avoid the inevitable log jam at the ticket scanners.

Why would a sellout be assured? When's the last time we actually had a sellout?

Two years ago against Ohio State. Last year's series fell over fall break so it didn't sell out.

I think with the game being moved back to 8 will help some OSU fans to get here after work, so the crowd should be a good size

Unfortunately we are playing like crap. We are down 3-1. They have scored three goals on seven shots.

5 goals on 22 shots. Thats a .777 save %. What happened to our stellar goaltending. I know it's early in the season but I don't see an at large bid. Going to be hard to get in the top 10 RPI with our putrid start. Have to win the WCHA tournament.

We would probably have to win out to receive an at-large bid at this point. This basically means all our OOC games are pointless, since we just have to win the league championship...but we have to make the playoffs first.

Who would have thought that goal-tending would be our biggest problem this year. Was good to see a decent PK, since we were last in the nation in PK % coming into the game.

I am glad I am not the coach.

Our WCHA schedule couldn't get any easier...we'll be back to beating terrible teams in no time. If we can't win WCHA games, we should just start our own conference with Huntsville, Toledo's club team, Robert Morris, Arizona State and Adrian. Actually Adrian might be a little too good, probably shouldn't invite them. Maybe American International needs a spot?

The defense and the goaltending was god awful. Idk what happened to Nell, the guy couldn't make one good save today at all. We've seen bad defense for years here when we were the bottom feeders of the CCHA, but the goaltending was never 5 goals on 22 shots bad. Absolutely embarrassing how this team is 0-4-1

I thought we all knew what happened with Nell :? ...I am starting to think it is effecting his game, unfortunately.

I honestly thought Bednard should have played the home game last weekend. It's hard to develop a goaltender in a hostile environment. Perhaps he will get the nod tonight in the abyss.

Or, better yet, we could save some money by eliminating baseball.

Or, we could give scholarships back to one of the few programs to actually win MAC championships at BGSU.

No, I think the better option would be to cut baseball. If Big Ten schools have a hard time competing baseball, who are we trying to kid?

If Bowling Green ever needs to save money by eliminating a sport, baseball is the very first place I would look.
