After this years rocky start I think its clear we need to reevaluate our strategy, primarily at the recruiting level. There is a well of untapped potential in the southern states which often go unrecruited. We could run the size game with the oversized talent that the southern states have to offer. They may be a bit behind on speed but that's nothing the great Bergeron can't fix. We might have to bring in another coach to run this new southern strategy, I believe Les Miles is still on the market? He may be a bit above our pay grade but I'm sure we can find some extra money in the budget if we fire the Zamboni driver, I don't think anyone would miss that guy anyways.

Dear "Charger"
Either I need to adjust my sarcasm detection meter, or I've found another candidate for the ignore list.

Obviously the program is moving in the right direction. First sign of a stumble and the trolls coming running. Get a couple wins and they'll disappear like whale piss in the ocean.

Do whales pee...how would we even know?

This is not a stumble, it's a colossal f*cking failure. Return so many starters from a 20 win team and we start the season 0-5-1 with many blowouts? Honestly if we go 0-7-1 someone needs to be fired

Well Flipper; According to a study published in 2003 in the Canadian Journal of Zoology, the sei whale, a member of the baleen whale family that can measure up to 60 feet (18 meters) long and weigh up to 100,000 lbs. (45,000 kilograms), has an estimated daily urine production of 166 gallons (627 liters). A fin whale, which can grow to be 85 feet (26 m) long and weigh up to 160,000 lbs. (72,575 kg), produces about 257 gallons (974 liters) of urine in one day.
I believe there is a little bit of whale pee in the ocean.

Yeah...but how do they know it's pee...and not some other fluid. Maybe that whale is a horny bastard wirth a serious case of nocturnal emissions. And how on earth did they measure the volume...did they catheterize the whale and then hang a 300 gallon bag off him?

Why change anything? It's exciting to have a joke of a hockey team...

Cause although most of us are men, or boys to say the least, doesn't mean all of us are little horn dogs like you. Just because you love the vagina rock on campus, doesn't mean the whales have those views in the ocean to conclude themselves like you do into a tissue. In order to acquire the amount of urine that exited the shaft, large shaft that is, I'm unsure. All I know is the local swimming pool has a higher piss to water volume ratio than our mighty oceans here on planet earth.
Carry on my son XoXo

You drag vag rock into this convo and I'm the horn dog? Introspection is not your strong suit...

Someone has way too much time on their hands to create 3 accounts and troll along. Seriously. Get lost. Yes we are having a down season. We've only played 2 conference games. We have what, 16 or 18 more conference games left. We can turn this around and win the league. Get got at the right time and win the tournament at home and make the NCAA.
But someone thinks the sky is falling, is upset and creates 3 separate accounts to post the same garbage. Get a life!!!

No question there is still time to get the season turned around...Minnesota State looks like they are the best team early. The only issue is the goaltending...if we don't get Chris Nell of 2015-16, we are a middle of the pack team at best in a terrible conference. This team can't win unless the goalies play above average every night. Last year they got that a lot from Nell...this year they haven't.
For those of you who want to argue about the quality of our league opponents...go check out the WCHAs performance out of conference so far this year. It's pretty obvious we're not going to be facing many good teams.
On the bright side it looks like the Alaska schools are keeping hockey....so we can still make that trip at least once a year!!!!
