Big series to see how we stack up against a decent opponent. Michigan Tech is a fairly balanced team and their goalie is a Freshman who has some confidence going right now.
They usually play a little more fast break style, but this year they've played more responsibly defensively and they aren't giving up many goals.
Be interested to see the attendance as this is about as good an opponent as we'll see at home the rest of the way. Anyway I'd expect a split 3-1 Tech, 2-1 BG

Well, he was pissed because he didn't touch the goaltender, that was sliding halfway between the net and side wall. Bergeron sent him to the locker room when his penalty was over.

He's still not made an appearance since the penalty. Looks like he's in the doghouse and done for the night.

Our powerplay is simply not where it needs to be this year.

Hopefully we get the split tomorrow...Tech looked better than us tonight...it would be tough to get swept at home.

He came out of the penalty box, skated to the bench, and Bergeron told him to go to the locker room. He never came back to the ice. That changed the entire attitude of the team.

I find it hard to justify sitting your best player because he was arguing with the ref on a penalty that shouldn't have really been called. Guess that's why I am not the coach.

Watching Bergeron's post game pressers it's easy to see his frustration with this team....maybe he's just pissed because he hasn't gotten his yearly extension yet this season?

Another thought...where was everyone last night? 2100 for the biggest home game of the year? Maybe people got lost because their GPS couldn't find "The Slater Family Ice Arena"? Maybe we should put out a press release the Arena didn't move locations...just got a new name.

Getting snarky about someone donating money to the University is a dick move.,

Bergeron may be the guy who got the team out of the abyss...questioning if he's the guy to go beyond "meh"
