Or are they playing loose in front of Nell because they know he can (and has time and time again) make great saves and Bednard is the rookie, so you play harder in front of him? That's what I mean. Does the team play better on Saturday because it's Saturday? It's no secret Nell is struggling this season. He's been behind the puck (play) a lot, and more often than not, it looks like he's hoping the puck hits him. Bednard appears to be trying to control rebounds and is on top of the puck a lot better. If the team plays better as a whole on Saturday, I'd like to see Nell in net to take some of the pressure off him.
