Nell in goal. So much for those hoping for a Friday night Bednard start.

OMG! Our first power play and we were shooting the puck on net!

Down 1-0 after 1. Should have been 2-0. They're faster than we are. By a lot.

2-2 after 2. Nell gives up a long rebound and they score. Dufour with two, his second was reminiscent of Cavallini from Kane.

Time to start giving some punishment for all the contact with Nell. If the guys wearing stripes don't want to do it, someone needs to step up. Stripes seem to be most concerned that BG is lined up perfectly for faceoffs. Just drop the damn puck.

McLain finishes a great passing play to win the game in the first OT!
First OT, counts as a win, 3 points in the standings.

We stunk it up in the first period. Found our game in the second. You cannot leave McLain that freakin' wide open. Thank God they did. He on a 4-game scoring streak.
Power play is looking better. Didn't score, but they moved the puck decently and shot it towards the net. We didn't take a lot of penalties which was good. Nell made some really nice saves. We earned this one.

Every WCHA game went to overtime last night. All other games ended in a tie however BG found a way to win in overtime

More strange is that every away team got a "win" Friday night. Pretty good slate of games Friday.

After 1 it's 2-1 good guys. Last 10 min of the first we looked really good. We've been in position, good passes, great shots on goal. Bednard has struggled but made a real nice highlight save. Starting the second with a PP, need to bury one.

Rauhauser leaves a guy wide open who scores, Bednard gives up a cheapie from nearly behind the goal line and just like that we go down a goal, give up an ENG, and give up 3 points that should have been ours. Frustrating.

What a terrible third period. Now we are back tied with Mankato but they still have two games in hand. We really need to this game tonight
