Why does the stats tracker say that tonight's game is an Exhibition Game.

First 10 minutes looked like one.

End of 1, BG leads 3-0. Shots are 12-8, BG.

Egg Sucker goaltender chased at 9:55, after the third goal. Shots are 1-5, egg suckers since that point.

So does tonight's game count in the standings or is it an exhibition game?

That's the type of excellence BG cultivates in its athletic department! No detail is too small!

Just like my earlier post Homecoming 2017. Why would you have the homecoming parade going on about the same time as a hockey game, volleyball match and soccer match. Only at BG. Couldn't have the parade tomorrow before the football game like 90% of other universities.

A rather lackluster period for us.

WCHA picks up 3 strong wins in OOC play. Thought it might pick up four but Alaska has blown a 3 -1 lead and now is down 4 -3.

3 - 2 OOC for the night.

Do it again tomorrow. Build that power rating for our conference

I agree with Coach Bergeron's post game comments that we played better on Tuesday, but we found a way to win. Dop looked great in goal. Let's get the sweep tomorrow.

If anyone was there, care to share your thoughts on the atmosphere and student section last night?

I always welcome feedback. We are still working on bringing back that 80s and 90s atmosphere.

Go BG!

Any doubt about goaltending this season should have been eased last night. Dop played great for a freshman. Defense played a good game in front of him and he was there when needed. You can't really ask for more out of a goaltender than that.

I felt it was pretty quiet until we scored. Didn't really notice a lot of chants throughout the game. The AZZ after we scored the first goal was pretty off between the front of the student section, the back of it, and the band. I noticed that the band started playing when the student section was trying to chant a few times (not student sections fault though). I wish the entire arena would get into the chants, because when the rink is full and everyone is making noise, it gets really loud.
Bring back the glory!
