A battle of the top 2 teams in the WCHA happens in Mankato this weekend.

If we can stay out of the box, I have a decent feeling we can achieve at least a split this weekend.

It's going to be a good series. Minnesota Sate has only scored less than 3 goals 3 times. We have only allowed more than 3 goals once...and that was against Minnesota State. I think we split, but I could see us getting swept too.

Nice fact throw in BG84, Agree on the split and hopefully it doesn't happen but can't really disagree with the sweep comment.

Getting swept would make the hill that much steeper to climb to catch Minn state realistically it could take BG two months of playing well to make up those six points up and then you have the problem of shoulder looking because Northern will be on our heels.

Going to buy the feed tonight and results will dictate if I do tomorrow.

Anything over a split would be gold and give BG solo possession of first.

I'd like to go to Allentown, PA in March let's get after it this weekend and set the tone of things to come.

Well definitely not a good 1st 10:00. 2 Minnesota goals on only 4 shots.

Looks like a bunch of spectators wearing orange in the defensive zone. Good offensive zone time for BG, but no real scoring chances.

Let's cut the lead to 1 heading to the 3rd. Tie it in the 3rd and win it in O.T. That seems to be what we do lately.

Still not an excuse for watching the puck.
Mankato moves really well in the offensive zone. You watch the puck and they'll simply skate around you. Their play has not changed since 4 weeks ago, and BG was completely unprepared for it.
