NCAA Regionals

Since mbenecke is travelling back from Mankato, I thought I'd start the first NCAA Regional thread on this board. Sorry to scoop you, Matt.

I'm going. Don't care where it is, don't care who we play. I'm gonna be there. I did receive an "NCAA Regional Tournament Interest Survey" from the Falcon Club gauging interest in tickets, a bus ride to wherever, accommodations, etc. Told them I'm going regardless of what they decide. Thank God I'm old and, thanks to my B.S. from BGSU, have disposable income.

There is a public watch party for the NCAA selection show at the Slate at 7pm, doors open at 6:30. Since I live in the Columbus area I'll have to live vicariously through the BG locals on this one. After 29 years, a watch party. For selection to the NCAA DI Hockey National Tournament. Damn that feels good!

Roll Along!

All good. Just got home and I'll be tuning in from my parents' house. Excited to finally hear our name called on Selection Sunday.

I'll certainly get a write-up posted for the first round within 24 hours of us finding out our location and opponent. I can't wait!

It is now official. BGSU vs. Minnesota Duluth in Allentown. 1984 rematch.

Who, besides me, is going? Meet at a bar somewhere?

I'm going, Mrs is undecided. Bus, drive, ride share, fly or walk if needed.

Wow did Minnesota St. get no favors...they get Providence, in Providence and Northeastern who is the best team in the East, not UMass.

Duluth is a tough draw for us.
The physical game won't affect them and their D-men are the real deal. If, somehow, we can get by them then QU/ASU is not as daunting.

I'm just happy to be in at this point. I know the baby steps this program has been taking the last few years are frustrating to some, but we are making headway every year.

I can name 44 other schools that would like to be us right now anyway.

I am planning to go to the game , but won't really know till Saturday morning if I will go. Allentown is about 50 miles from my house.

Jet lagged and feeling the Sting of being in the arena for last nights game.

They say modern medicine works wonders.........

I think Bowling Green #4 vs Minnesota Dulth in Allentown was just the remedy.

Five going to Allentown from this party. Willing to meet up and meet other falcons flying to Allentown. Let's bring a championship home. Who said March Madness was just for Basketball...............

Falcon club is expecting our ticket allotment to be completely swept up by season ticket holders.

Not really surprising. I'd be there, but I just took 2 Saturdays in a row off from work, and it's a huge hassle getting someone to cover.
