It's a big series this weekend, as our Falcons (4-3-0) will head back to Mankato to take on the Minnesota State Mavericks (5-0-1) on Friday and Saturday night this weekend. Friday night's game will be played at 8:07pm, and Saturday night's puck drop is slated for 7:07pm. Both games this weekend will be available to stream on FloHockey. You can also listen to Ryan Vallon on the radio call, or follow @BGFalconHockey on Twitter for updates throughout the game.
This is another team we're very familiar with, as we swept the regular season series against them last year and fought them to the very end in the WCHA championship last season, ultimately dropping the contest in overtime. These are two of the most consistent programs in the WCHA, and I think we'll show up this weekend. The boys are going to be as focused and fired up as they ever have been, with this being one of the keys to their "Revenge Tour."
Projected Goaltender Stats:
BGSU
Jr. Eric Dop... GAA - 2.34, SV% - .905, 4–2-0
Mankato
So. Dryden McKay… GAA - 1.38, SV% - .940, 4-0-1
Let's get it, Falcons!

I’m glad I didn’t give up when we were down 2!

Great comeback effort. Guys got some fight in em. Gonna take another great effort tommorow

Another good bounce back after a poor game previously. Not to mention being down 2-0 on the road early. Big win for BG

A great road win. Hopefully, they can steal another one tonight.

I didn’t have the chance to watch the game (and I won’t again tonight) but I did catch a clip of the OT winner. I’m encouraged that this team fought even after getting punched in the mouth early. Felt nice to exact some revenge in their barn, and now we’ve won 3 of our last 4 against the current #2 team in the country.
Hoping for another strong effort tonight. Go Falcons!

Not the result we wanted Saturday but leaving Mankato with a split is VERY good for us.

Splitting at Mankato isn’t anything to be disappointed in. Getting blown out back to back Saturdays is concerning. It’s the inconsistency that is this programs calling card. 3rd place program in a mediocre conference.
Re: @ Minnesota State 11/1-11/2)
I have to agree. I'll take a split on the road against the current #2 team in the country, but I haven't liked our last 2 Saturday efforts. Something to clean up during the off week as we head to Anchorage for two the following weekend.
