After a brutal week at home, and riding a 4-game losing streak, our Falcons (12-9-1) will head to the Upper Peninsula to search for answers against the Michigan Tech Huskies (12-9-1). Our guys have to respond this weekend - no other way around it. Friday's game will begin at 7:07pm EST, while Saturday night is slated for a 6:07pm EST puck drop. Both games this weekend will be available to stream on FloHockey. You can also listen to Ryan Vallon on the radio call, or follow @BGFalconHockey on Twitter for updates throughout the game.

We split the series with them here in Bowling Green back in October, winning 3-1 and losing 4-2.

We currently sit 6th in the WCHA with 23 league points. However, we are just 1 point back from 4th and 4 points back from 3rd. This series is a massive opportunity for us to get back to the top of the conference. There are 6 huge points on the line this weekend, and we definitely are a team desperate for them.

Projected Goaltender Stats:

BGSU
Jr. Eric Dop... GAA - 2.24, SV% - .909, 12–8-0

Tech
Jr. Matt Jurusik... GAA - 2.15, SV% - .921, 11-6-1

Gotta get back on the winning side of things up in Houghton this weekend. Go Falcons.

Falcons take Game 1, 3-2! It was scary as they battled back at the end, but we're back in the win column. Those 3 points put us into 4th place in the WCHA for the moment, and we'll stay there overnight depending on the result of the Alaska-LSSU game.

Outshot them 30-16. Pretty dominant performance, all in all.

Let's keep it rolling!

Pretty sure the goal for the trip is to not come home sick.

At least they got the extra point in the sister-kisser.

Hockey ties tonight, 2-2. Got the extra point on a Max Johnson goal in the 3x3 period.

5 point weekend in Houghton has to be considered a success.

Now, bring on Mankato.
