After a brutal week at home, and riding a 4-game losing streak, our Falcons (12-9-1) will head to the Upper Peninsula to search for answers against the Michigan Tech Huskies (12-9-1). Our guys have to respond this weekend - no other way around it. Friday's game will begin at 7:07pm EST, while Saturday night is slated for a 6:07pm EST puck drop. Both games this weekend will be available to stream on FloHockey. You can also listen to Ryan Vallon on the radio call, or follow @BGFalconHockey on Twitter for updates throughout the game.
We split the series with them here in Bowling Green back in October, winning 3-1 and losing 4-2.
We currently sit 6th in the WCHA with 23 league points. However, we are just 1 point back from 4th and 4 points back from 3rd. This series is a massive opportunity for us to get back to the top of the conference. There are 6 huge points on the line this weekend, and we definitely are a team desperate for them.
Projected Goaltender Stats:
BGSU
Jr. Eric Dop... GAA - 2.24, SV% - .909, 12–8-0
Tech
Jr. Matt Jurusik... GAA - 2.15, SV% - .921, 11-6-1
Gotta get back on the winning side of things up in Houghton this weekend. Go Falcons.
