UAH

We’re tied with Fairbanks with 43 points each, but we need them to drop at least one point this weekend against Anchorage to end up in front of them with a sweep. We also need Northern to get 1 point or less against Tech for us to finish with the 3 seed. Getting the 3 is probably unlikely at this point, but my primary focus is on somehow stealing home ice from Fairbanks. First thing’s first - we need to take care of business for ourselves.
Let's go Falcons. Time to close the season strong and run the unbeaten streak to 8. Beat UAH!

I'll be there for both games! Huntsville is just a couple hours down the road from me in Nashville. Looking forward to seeing them for the first time in a few years.

PlayoffStatus currently gives us a 61% chance at home ice for the first round. We have a 13% chance at the 3-seed (we lose the tiebreaker to NMU) and a 48% chance at the 4-seed.
A win in our next game gets us a 75% chance at home ice, while a loss eliminates us from the 3-seed and gives us just a 16% chance of finishing in the top 4.

That 60 second collapse against NMU is figuring huge, as you just knew it would at the time.
Of course you gotta like our odds to finish 3rd, since we seem to every single year regardless of where we are picked pre-season.

Really rooting hard for an Alaskan split this weekend. Huge fan of the Seawolves tonight and tomorrow.

Assuming we do what we should do, I think all we need is a tie.

Fairbanks has the tiebreaker over us. If we both sweep the weekend, Fairbanks has the higher win percentage is conference games, so they win the tiebreaker. It's unfortunate, but that's where we are.

What I meant was all we need is one of the games to end in a tie.

Ohhhhh, you're right. A tie prevents them from getting 6 points.
We also would love to see NMU get 1 point or less...

I would prefer not to finish third or the village idiot will parade around these boards in his tighty whities screaming at the top of his fingers.
Edit. Not that it matters, I have him on block anyway...

Talking about playoff scenarios doesn't really matter if we don't take care of our own business.
Down 1 - 0 after 1.

We’re down 3-2 after 2.
We’re playing the worst team in the country and losing after 2. This program is so hard to understand sometimes.

I’m here. Several rough calls going against BG. Lots of shots on goal but few of quality. Gotta tighten up in the third.

Falcons win, 4-3! It took OT, but we grabbed 3 massive points.
Tech beat NMU 8-4. The Alaskan teams play tonight.
